How to Get Tousled Hair

Step #1

Use Foxy Locks 20" clip in hair extensions.

Step #2

Slightly dry your hair then apply your Foxy Locks Extensions, spray your hair extensions with water to dampen them. Carry on drying your hair. To preserve natural waves and curls you will want to lean forward and dry your hair upside down using a hair dryer. As you dry your hair scrunch it to create loose waves and curls.

Step #3

Now that your hair is dry flip in back to its normal position. Next get out a hair gel or mousse and apply a small amount of product to your palms. Rub the product between your palms so that both hands are covered. Now work the product through your hair making sure that you coat your hair from root to tip. Define curls and waves by scrunching your hair with your hands and by ringing the locks around your finger.

Step #5

If you have straight hair that doesn’t naturally create the wave definition that you are looking for then you may want to use barrel curlers and a low setting to set your curls. Once your hair is set unroll the curlers and style your hair with your fingers instead of using a brush. Apply mousse or gel to create hold and set your tousled look.

Step #6

To keep your tousled look from turning sloppy keep a sample sized tube of serum in your bag. Apply a little bit of product to your hair and re-scrunch it to give new life to your waves every so often. You can also use the gel or serum to control frizz and fly aways that have developed during the night.
